Technology is always changing. No matter where you turn, newer, more advanced products are being sold to consumers at a faster rate. The same is true in the world of dentistry, as scientists continually work to improve techniques and technologies. At Perez Family Dentistry, we believe in offering the best, so you can expect our advanced dental technology to create a more comfortable approach when working toward greater accuracy and precision for various dental treatments.

Intraoral Camera

Intraoral cameras offer what was once only a dream. In the past, seeing what your dentist sees wasn’t possible. Now, thanks to these camera-tipped devices that scan your teeth and gums, you can easily see the inside of your mouth in real-time. You can view your pearly whites and soft oral tissues while Dr. Perez explains any problem areas or details the importance of treatment.

Digital Dental X-Rays

Less radiation, higher-resolution images, and quicker timeframes are just a few of the phrases used to describe our digital dental X-rays. Unlike past radiographs that exposed patients to harmful radiation and took forever to develop, these upload in just seconds, making it easier for our team to review your oral anatomy and prepare a plan. Also, we can quickly store and retrieve your scans should we need them in the future.

CBCT Scanner

When preparing more advanced dental procedures, our CBCT scanner can better formulate treatment plans. With a 360-degree rotating arm that captures hundreds of images in just seconds, a three-dimensional model forms on a nearby screen, showing the various bones, gums, teeth, and facial structures. This makes it much easier to plan for dental implant placement or even root canal treatment. And the fact that it’s completely painless makes for a more enjoyable patient experience.

The Wand

The Wand

You’ll be hard-pressed to find anyone who likes needles. Instead, most would prefer to avoid them at all costs. This is why we use The Wand, a computer automated anesthetic delivery system. The Wand is designed to make administering anesthesia easier and to create a more comfortable experience for patients, it helps those who are fearful of the dentist’s office feel less nervous and more at ease. Because of its more controlled injection, there is little to no discomfort for you or your loved ones.
